Le Magnifique (1973)

"Le Magnifique" is a 1973 French action-comedy built around a struggling novelist who imagines himself as a globe-trotting spy hero, mixing genre parody with straight-faced pulp thrills. Jacqueline Bisset plays the woman who appears throughout his fantasies, cast opposite the daydreaming lead. The archive holds 3 scenes from the film showing her topless and nude, footage that has kept this title in circulation on this site decades after its release. It's a rare chance to see Bisset unclothed on screen during the years she was becoming a fixture of European cinema.
