Lady Macbeth Von Mzensk

"Lady Macbeth Von Mzensk" is a European drama drawing on the same source material behind the Shostakovich opera, following a woman trapped in a loveless marriage who turns to adultery and violence. Marketa Hrubesova stars in the lead role, appearing nude and in a sex scene that carries much of the film's second act. The archive holds 3 clips from the title, all centered on Hrubesova.
