House Of Sand And Fog

House of Sand and Fog is a 2003 drama about one California bungalow and the two people who both believe it is theirs: Behrani, an immigrant who buys it planning to fix it up, sell it on and pay for his son's college, and Kathy, a former drug addict who lost it to the county in an unfair legal dispute and is now out on the street. Kathy hires a lawyer, befriends a police officer, and neither side has broken a law, which is the whole problem. Jennifer Connelly plays Kathy, and her scenes are the reason the film is in this archive, with nude scenes and a sex scene among them. The site holds 4 scenes from the film, all of them Connelly.
