Henri Georges Clouzot's Inferno is a documentary that digs up the wreckage of a notorious unfinished 1964 thriller. It pieces together test footage, interviews, and behind-the-scenes material. The shoot collapsed under its director's obsession. Romy Schneider anchors much of the surviving footage. Her experimental screen tests show how far Clouzot pushed her into raw, exposed territory. Dany Carrel turns up too, another striking piece of this unfinished puzzle. The site hosts 3 scenes pulled from that material, mixing nude and topless footage among them. Together they offer a rare, startlingly bare look at a film that technically never existed.
