Gut Gegen Nordwind (2019)

"Gut Gegen Nordwind" is a German romantic drama built around two strangers who fall into an emotional connection through letters and phone calls, circling the idea of meeting face to face as their feelings grow. The film is adapted from Daniel Glattauer's novel and stays focused on quiet exchanges rather than big set pieces. Nora Tschirner plays the female lead, a woman torn between curiosity and hesitation about the man on the other end. The archive holds 2 scenes from the film, including a nude scene with Tschirner that plays out with little fanfare, tied closely to the story rather than staged for effect.
