Free The Nipple (2014)

"Free the Nipple" is the guerrilla-style drama that takes its title directly from the real-world protest movement, following a group of women in New York City who take to the streets bare-chested to challenge indecency laws and the double standards around female nudity. Lina Esco, who also directed the film, leads the charge both behind and in front of the camera, baring all in service of the film's activist spirit. Lola Kirke rounds out the cast among a group of women committed to the cause, with the film's topless sequences doubling as both narrative and statement.
