Film Stars Don't Die In Liverpool

Film Stars Don't Die In Liverpool is a 2017 romance drama set in Liverpool in 1978, following the affair between Gloria Grahame, an eccentric Academy Award-winning actress, and her younger lover Peter Turner, a British actor who becomes the man she leans on as the relationship deepens. Annette Bening takes the Grahame role, and the archive holds 3 scenes from her, built around the bedroom material between the two leads rather than anything full-frontal. Bening's sex scene is the main event here, shot close and kept brief.
