Darling Lili (1970)

Darling Lili is the 1970 espionage musical romance starring Julie Andrews as a World War I singer secretly working as a spy, caught up with an Allied pilot. Blake Edwards directed the film, which is remembered less for its wartime plot than for one detail: Andrews appears topless, a striking departure from her Mary Poppins image. That scene is the single clip archived on site. For a performer tied so closely to family-friendly roles, it remains a rare exception.
