Carry On Girls (1973)

Carry On Girls is a 1973 entry in the long-running British comedy series, this time built around a seaside town's beauty pageant and the chaos that erupts around it. Margaret Nolan, a regular presence in the franchise's later run, appears in a topless scene that plays the humor for laughs rather than heat. Wendy Richard also features among the pageant contestants, caught up in the same bawdy send-up. The archive holds 2 scenes from the film, both leaning on the series' habit of undressing its cast for a punchline.
