Body Double (1984)

Brian De Palma's 1984 thriller "Body Double" follows an out-of-work actor who gets drawn into a stalking plot after watching his neighbor through a telescope. The story runs on voyeurism, mistaken identity, and a plot that keeps circling back to who's watching whom. Melanie Griffith plays an adult film actress, appearing nude in scenes that mix her character's line of work with the real thing. Deborah Shelton is the woman on the other end of that telescope, seen undressing and having sex in scenes shot to make the audience complicit in the spying. The archive holds 11 scenes total between the two actresses, covering topless shots, staged seduction, and full sex scenes.
