Black Rock (2012)

Black Rock is a survival thriller about three old friends whose camping reunion on a remote island spirals into a fight for their lives. A chance encounter with a group of hunters turns violent fast. Katie Aselton stars and also directed the film. She shares the screen with Lake Bell as the two women get pushed to desperate extremes. Before the wilderness closes in, the story finds room for quieter, exposed beats amid all that mounting dread. There are 3 scenes on site capturing that skin, split between Aselton and Bell. It's a rare chance to see both actresses bare something raw before the chaos fully takes over.
