Backbeat (1994)
Movie 1 videosDirected by Iain Softley
"Backbeat" is the 1994 drama covering The Beatles' early days playing clubs in Hamburg before fame hit, centered on the relationship between Stuart Sutcliffe and John Lennon. Sheryl Lee plays Astrid Kirchherr, the photographer who becomes part of the band's inner circle, and her nude scene is the one clip the archive holds from the film. Lynn Lowton and Finola Geraghty round the cast out in supporting roles with no scenes on file. One scene total, drawn straight from the film rather than any extended cut.
