Aquamarine (2006)
Movie 2 videos 5 photosDirected by Elizabeth Allen Rosenbaum
Aquamarine is the mermaid comedy about a teenage sea creature who washes ashore and disrupts the lives of two best friends over one summer. Sara Paxton plays the mermaid, while Arielle Kebbel plays the friend pulled into her secret. The film itself stays PG-toned throughout, built for a teen audience rather than anything explicit. Still, the archive holds 2 scenes from it, with both Paxton and Kebbel appearing in skin-baring clips that stand apart from the film's beach-set innocence, useful markers for tracking either actress's early work.
