An Angel At My Table (1990)

An Angel At My Table is Jane Campion's biographical drama on New Zealand writer Janet Frame, tracking her from a difficult childhood through wrongful psychiatric confinement to her rise as a novelist. Kerry Fox plays the adult Frame, handling the film's later stretch, including an early attempt at intimacy that plays out clumsy and exposed rather than staged for effect. The site carries 1 scene from the film, a nude scene featuring Fox.
