American Virgin (2000)
Movie 1 videosDirected by Jean-Pierre Marois
"American Virgin" is an indie dramedy centered on a young woman working through questions of identity and sexuality. Mena Suvari plays the lead role, carrying most of the film's offbeat, uncomfortable comedy on her own. The site holds one clip from the movie, a scene in which Suvari appears topless. It plays vulnerable rather than played for shock.
