Adaptation (2002)

Charlie Kaufman's 2002 comedy-drama "Adaptation" follows a screenwriter's breakdown while adapting a nonfiction book about orchid poaching, mixing real journalism with invented plot threads. Meryl Streep plays journalist Susan Orlean, who drifts from a controlled, professional exterior into a more unraveled state as the story progresses. The hub holds 1 scene of Streep in a nude, exposed sequence rarely seen in her filmography of prestige roles.
