A Good Woman (2004)
Movie 2 videos 9 photosDirected by Mike Barker
"A Good Woman" is a period comedy-drama that moves Oscar Wilde's story of scandal to the Amalfi Coast, following a young bride whose marriage gets complicated by an older woman's past. Scarlett Johansson plays the new wife, mostly buttoned-up amid the villas and gossip typical of Wilde adaptations. The archive holds 2 scenes that break from that restraint, catching Johansson undressed in ways the rest of the film never shows. These clips date from her early-career work, before the period-drama polish became her norm.
