The Deuce (2011)

"The Deuce" is the gritty HBO drama that traces the rise of the porn industry and street life around Times Square in the 1970s and 80s. The show built its reputation on unflinching honesty. Its cast delivers plenty of that rawness on screen. Maggie Gyllenhaal anchors much of it with nude and sex scenes tracing her character's journey through the sex trade.
