Riverdale reimagines the Archie Comics universe as a moody teen drama built on small-town secrets and murder mysteries. Beneath the noir lighting and love triangles, the show never shied from turning up the heat on its young cast. Madelaine Petsch and Camila Mendes bring plenty of that tension to life as Cheryl Blossom and Veronica Lodge. Lili Reinhart's Betty Cooper toes the line between vulnerability and seduction throughout her run.
